UFI is “the Union des Foires Internationales”, an international trade fair association founded in 1925 with headquarters in Paris, France.With 86 countries and over 813 member organizations, UFI is the world’s largest and most influential certification body for the exhibition industry.UFI certification is granted only to trade shows that have passed rigorous qualification reviews over the past three years, based on international standards for overseas buyers and exhibitors.

Certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy to strengthen the competitiveness and global advancement of the exhibition industry, the Association of Korea Exhibition Industry (AKEI) has been operating the certification system since 2005.
Exhibition organizers provide verified and standardized data such as the scope of participants, visitors, and event specifics, and only those passing the certification criteria receive the official designation as a certified international exhibition.
